Frequently Asked Questions

How many do I need to attend in order to hold a NZRC Core course at my Practice?

NZRC Core courses can be run with a minimum of four participants and a maximum of six.  If only three turn up on the day, the course won't  be able to be held and will require it to be rescheduled.

Can I invite staff from other practices in our area, to a course we are running, to make up the numbers?

Yes- as long as they meet the criteria for attendance (must be a health professional).

Where do we run your courses?

Our point of difference is that we bring the NZ Core courses to you- we hold them at your practice locations.

On what days do you run these courses?

We are flexible to your needs and can run these courses on any day that suits your practice.

We realise how challenging it can be releasing four staff at once and  can also run on a weekend if that suits you better. The start times are also flexible.

Our practice is located rurally. Is there an additional cost for travel and accommodation for the instructor?

As our model is based on travelling to practices rather than asking participants to travel to us, there has been travel costs built into the  costings.

Can we purchase additional pre-reading manuals ?

Yes. One is included in the course fee and will be sent out to you on confirmation of the course.  There is a three-week pre-reading time allocated to this course therefore the course needs to be confirmed  no later than 3 weeks prior to scheduled course date.

You can either share this with the participants or purchase additional ones from us. We also rent them out and ask for them to be returned on the course day.

Please ask at booking if you would like to rent or purchase more.
